which depict work in an area of Cameroon overseen by Presbyterian missionaries.
Almost certainly all Africans in the photos are from the Bulu people, sometimes called
the Boulou. The accompanying captions are Laura's own. Any text provided by the
Archives is enclosed within brackets; the image number begins each
bracketed comment.
