Circulation and Check-out Policies
The Archives and Special Collections is a non-circulating repository. However, in order to better serve the college community materials can, on exception, be placed on loan.
When materials are loaned out it is with the intention that they are to be returned in a timely manner, a date of return will be determined by the borrower and the Archives and Special Collections staff, usually two days, and will be checked out to the patron through the library's catalog system. Fines may be incurred when materials are past due. Materials are also to be cared for with unusual concern and should not leave the campus. If
materials are damaged or lost the borrower will incur the full cost of repair or replacement.
Special Collections manuscript material will not be loaned out. Special arrangements can be made for departmental and administrative files, located in the College Archives, for short-term loan.
