Struggling for a few more years on her own, in 1992 Margaret retired to a monitored-care home in Toronto.  It is here that she still resides, unfortunately unable to interact with those who have appreciated and been ministered to by her works.  A bright spot of that year was the recognition of her contributions to hymnody by being named a Fellow of the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada.
