It was during these years that Margaret, admittedly, began to have a fuller sense of God’s sovereignty, especially as it related to her own personal suffering.  The success of Susie’s Babies allowed Margaret to take a leave of absence during the 1960-61 school year during which she took courses in Language and Literature at University of Toronto.  These courses enabled her to increase her certification and most certainly her salary.
