Letter from Lorne Sanny to Participating Pastors, April 24, 1956
Letter from Lorne Sanny to pastors participating in the 1956 Billy Graham
Richmond (Virginia) Crusade, describing the crusade’s follow-up program. For most of the 1950s, the Navigators under the leadership of Dawson Trotman and Lorne Sanny worked with the fledgling BGEA organization to develop a system for effectively counseling the inquirers who came forward at the end of crusade services and then making sure the new converts received help in starting their Christian life and were directed to a church home. Many Navigator staff were seconded to the BGEA to help in this effort. From Collection 7, Box 4, Folder 10.
