the early days of the Billy Graham Center and the Scholarship program

Jane was the first employee of the Billy Graham Center, hired by the first director of Center, Don Hoke, in February 1975.
And she was the strong pillar of the administration during all her years with the BGC until her retirement in 1995.
She also was deeply involved in the BGEA telephone counseling ministry and was the first director of the BGC Scholarship program.
Hundreds of scholarship recipients from around the world benefited from her professional skill and her loving heart.
She is now with the Lord she served so well for so long.

Jane's memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The Compass Church, 520 E. Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, Illinois.

From April McLoughlin, who is following in Jane's footsteps as the current Billy Graham Center Scholarship Program Coordinator

"Jane diligently worked to fulfill the intent of the original donors for this unique and on-going scholarship ministry.
She was a faithful woman of prayer, continuing to pray for the Billy Graham Center Scholarship Program and scholars
(past, present and future) as late as last academic year (2016-17).
Jane loved Jesus and is now released from her physical restrictions and enjoying the sweet fellowship of her Lord for which she’s longed.

Personally, she had become such a special part of my life for the last five years.  I
found her to be a great example of faithfulness to the Lord in heart, mind, and action."
