In April 1980, after the overthrow and murder of Liberian president William Tolbert by a military coup,a reporter from the a small Ohio newspaper interviewed Rev. Jones. Jones lived in nearby Oberlin and had been to Liberia several times. The article describes some of his experiences in that country as an evangelist.
