Boston newspapers, particularly the Globe, published many caricatures by local cartoonists, of the staff and committee members of leaders of the evangelistic meetings Billy Graham held in Boston and several other New England towns in 1949 and 1950. Allan Emery was the chairman of the Boston committee and deeply involved in all aspects of planning the New England meetings.
