Insert (front of two panels) for church bulletins cooperating in the 1952 Billy Graham Pittsburgh Crusade. This piece was distributed to churches to encourage congregation members to pray for the crusade. By 1952, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association had incorporated and was holding multi-week, union meetings in four or five American cities a year, as well as one or two day rallies. Willis Haymaker, who has been an advance man for evangelists of the previous generation such as Billy Sunday and Gypsy Smith, was the first crusade director for the BGEA and established the procedures which were in a continual state of development for the next half a century.
