| Telegram from Billy Graham to the staff, faculty and students of Northwestern Schools, November 7, 1949. Graham was president of Northwestern Schools. He was wiring partly to apologize for missing the Northwestern's Founders Week due to the continuation of the Los Angeles meeting, partly to thank them for their messages of support and encouragement he had been receiving, and partly to report on the excitement the meetings were generating. T.W. Wilson, whom he mentions in the telegram as holding an evangelistic campaign in Whittier, California, was his assistant at Northwestern. From Collection 360, Scrapbook 5. |
