| Program for the June 21, 1947. Hollywood Bowl Rally, sponsored by Christ for Greater Los Angeles Committee and Youth for Christ. Billy Graham was the chief speaker at the meeting. This rally was an example of the many types of evangelistic events the Committee sponsored around Los Angeles. It also represents its close working relationship with Youth for Christ; (the director of YFC Los Angeles was on the board of the Committee). The rally also gave some Committee members a chance to hear Graham for the first time and to evaluate him as a possible evangelist for one of the city-wide extended campaigns the Committee periodically sponsored.
