Eating with the troops after the Christmas Day services and just before his flight back to Seoul.

"We were surrounded as we ate by men who wanted to know more about the Christian life, how to study the Bible, etc.... After dinner we went to our jeep, shook hands with all we could reach, waved to a few who had hobbled out of the hospital, and headed back from the front to our plane. As we took off for the flight back to Seoul we took a last look at the front lines, heard the rumble of the artillery for the last time, and waved a final farewell to the men who would be going back into the trenches, many now walking with Christ for the first time."
