First press conference of the World Congress on Evangelism in Berlin, Germany. Billy Graham and Carl Henry. They are introduced by Gil Stricklin of the congress press office. Each gives a brief opening statement on their expectations for the congress and then answer questions. Questions were about Evangelical self-righteousness and self criticism, the perception of American domination of the congress, Roman Catholics at the conference as observers, perceived declining percentage of Christians in the world population, the World Council of Churches, the need for greater Evangelical cooperation, humanity's innate belief in God, Christian evangelism in communist countries; Christianity and racism, the lack of women delegates, Graham's plans to preach in Vietnam and the possibility of preaching in eastern Europe, Berlin as the site of the congress, cost and sources of support for the congress, relationship of evangelism to social concern (60 minutes, Tape T25 of Collection 24) |

Sheerin, and Rabbi Arthur Gilbert, all from the United States. They each made a statement about their reasons for being at the conference.
