Total and averages are based on the number of years for which that particular statistic has been gathered. For example, BGEA statistics have been gathered for 33 years, so the total is divided by 33; e-mail statistics have been gathered for 20 years, so that statistics is divided by 17. No statistic has been gathered for less than 20 years.

All categories above are exclusive (if a phone caller asks for an inter-library loan, the request is counted under "Inter-Library Loan" or Phone" but not under both)

Definitions:

BGEA: Requests for information from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association

Inter-Library Loan: Material loaned by the BGC Archives to another archives and library for the use of one of their patrons.

One-on-one: Assistance given by staff to a patron on a one-to-one basis outside the Reading Room

Presentations: Session prepared for a group outside of the Reading Room (Starting in 2006, all sessions were held outside the Reading Room. Many were held next door in the Archival Seminar Room.)

Students in Dr. Charles Weber’s East Asian History class looking through documents during a session led by the staff in the Archival Seminar Room.
