Hard walls being constructed to close in the new 5th floor storage area, providing a more secure space that replaces the previous storage cage.

When the unfinished 5th floor was renovated during the year to provide temporary classrooms for the Art Department during Adams Hall renovation, a large section was walled off for the Archives and Museum. The section for the Archives (which has no environmental controls) includes all the industrial shelving previously used by the two departments, plus some used mobile shelving. With the addition of 3rd floor storage and a small 4th floor space in 2007, the shelf footage available to the Archives has increased from 12,355 linear feet in 2006 to 16,001 linear feet.
