Biography

Vocalist; born John William Boone, 1864; lost sight at six months of age from brain fever; attended St. Louis School for the Blind where he began playing the piano; traveled the country performing music along with several associates; died, 1927.

Scope and Content

Handbill for a concert by Boone. Handbill contains photos of Boone and his associates, and a brief biography of Boone.

Provenance

The materials for this collection were received by the Center in October 1983 from John Rush of Emmaus Bible School.
