Biography

Founder and director of the Bristol Orphan Houses, missionary, Plymouth Brethren leader; born, 1805; died 1898.

Scope and Content

Two notes written by Muller near the end of his life. Letter to Arthur Tappan Pierson is a brief acknowledgement and personal message, including obituary of Muller's wife, Susannah Grace Muller. The other contains condolences to an unknown correspondent.

Provenance

The materials for this collection were received by the Center in February 1980 from Terry Alford, Manuscript Company of Springfield, Massachusetts.
