Scope and Content
Letters written by Evangeline Booth during her service as Field Commissioner of The Salvation Army in the United States. Correspondence concerns actual or potential contributors. Also includes a printed card with autograph, July 22, 1936, and a newspaper clipping advertising free Christmas dinners in 1910.
The materials for this collection were received by the Center in April 1979 from C.D. Price, Inc. and Harold R. Nestler, February 1980 from Lorraine Burdick, and September 1984 from the BGC Museum.
