Historical Background
Religious film production company; formed in 1951 as a Billy Graham Evangelistic Association subsidiary to produce and distribute films, most of which would combine a fictional or true story of a person's conversion with scenes from an actual BGEA crusade; most films were available for distribution to churches, but occasionally to the general public through release in commercial theaters; WWP's presidents were Dick Ross and William Brown; until 1988, production was done in WWP's Burbank, California, office; distribution was coordinated from WWP's Minneapolis office; Burbank office closed and operations consolidated in Minneapolis, 1988.

Annual report (1961) for World Wide Pictures, Inc. Combines pictures of recent film releases, proposed budget, and a report on the use of World Wide films by foreign mission boards.
