Missionary and Anglican bishop; born, 1912; missionary in India, 1936-1940; co-secretary of the World Evangelical Fellowship, 1950-1959; federal secretary of the Church Missionary Society, Australia, 1959-1965; Assistant bishop, Diocese of Sydney, 1965-?; chairman of the 1974 International Congress on World Evangelization.
