Biography

African American Baptist pastor and church leader; participated in Billy Graham's Heart of America Crusade in Kansas City, 1967; hosted Congress of Evangelism in Kansas City, 1970; served as a member of Billy Graham Evangelistic Associate Board.

Scope and Content

Minutes, correspondence and forms. Materials related to Rev. Williams' participation in the 1967 Heart of America Crusade, his contacts with President Richard Nixon, and his hosting of the 1970 Congress of Evangelism in Kansas City, Mo.

The materials for this collection were received by the Center in September 1975 from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
