Scope and Content
This collection consists of two oral history interviews with Samuel K. Mills who was interviewed by Robert Shuster on December 9, 1994, and January 6, 1995, at the Archives of the Billy Graham Center. The events described in the interviews cover the time period 1959-1994.
T1 (78 minutes). Family background, influence and description of parents, memorizing Bible passages as a child, importance of education, love for acting, childhood heros, impact of being in an accident at age six, weaknesses of his church, enjoying athletics especially track, recollections of President Kwame Nkruma of Ghana, starting smoking with his peers, conversion through the influence of a Christian cousin, begining living for the Lord after giving up smoking, joining Calvary Road (a youth group committed to sharing the gospel through music, drama, and preaching), influence of Calvary Road on his Christian life, reactions of family to his conversion, working as a civil servant, involvement in drama with ACM
