This collection consists of a microfilm of a journal, 1840s-1857, kept by John Mason Peck
describing his ministry in former Illinois territory. Contains biographical data on colleagues,
subscription lists of periodicals, financial accounts, description of events, activities, proposals,
and other data. Original filmed by the Historical Commission of the Southern Baptist Church.
The materials for this collection were received by the Center in May 1986 from the Billy Graham
