When you buy a series of concert tickets instead of purchasing tickets individually, you are a subscriber. By doing so, you are guaranteed the same seat(s) for every show, you pay less than the individual ticket price, and (when ordering by June 1) you reserve the right to keep the same seats for the following season.

We offer two kinds of subscriptions: full (all 7 events) or flex (4 events).

To purchase 5 or 6 events, you would simply add those extras as individual events, at their individual prices, in addition to a flex package of 4.

INDIVIDUAL TICKET ORDERS CAN BE PLACED ONLINE BEGINNING JULY 15

Ticket & Box Office Hours
The Ticket and Information Office is open from 8:30a-noon and 1:00p-4:30p, Monday through Friday. The office is located on the first floor of the Student Services Building, next to the Wheaton College Bookstore. Feel free to call ahead and check for special hours.
On concert nights, the Box Office in Edman Memorial Chapel opens one hour before the scheduled concert start time.
Payment Methods
We accept cash, checks, and four major credit cards—Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express—for all Artist Series events and the annual Christmas Festival.
At the Box Office on the night of a performance, cash and checks are fastest. Credit or debit transactions are possible, but can hold up the lines.
Turned-in tickets can be sold for cash or check only.
Group Sales
For groups of 20 people or more, ordered at the same time and with a single payment, we offer a 2-for-1 ticket price (buy one, get one free).
Group tickets can be ordered only through the Ticket Office—not online—and prices will be applied considering seating sections and applicable discounts for students and seniors (60+).
Replacement Tickets
If you have lost your tickets, please phone the Ticket Office as soon as you notice the tickets are missing. We will be happy to reprint the appropriate tickets and have them waiting under your name at the Will Call window.
Likewise, we always have advance-order seat-assignment information available at the Edman Box Office in case you happen to bring the wrong tickets. Please stop by Will Call, and we will provide substitute tickets so you can enjoy the performance.
Transfer Tickets to Guests/Friends
If you cannot attend a concert and you would like friends or family to enjoy your seats, but you cannot get your tickets to your guests, please phone the Ticket Office as soon as your arrangements are confirmed. We will be happy to print the appropriate tickets and have them waiting under your guest's name at the Will Call window.
How to Donate Tickets
Life happens. If you find you are unable to use any of your pre-purchased concert tickets, you may release them to the Ticket Office as a tax-deductible donation.
Tickets may be donated up to 15 minutes before a concert start time. Simply bring any unneeded tickets to the Edman Box Office and exchange them for a tax receipt.
However, it is more efficient to donate tickets ahead of time. Simply call 630-752-5010 and leave a voicemail message (ext. 4) if necessary, including your name and the section, row, and seat number(s) you want to donate. (For how to read a ticket, see the diagram below). Then, destroy the donated tickets; this will prevent them accidentally being double-used. We will send a receipt by mail in the first week after the event.

Gift Certificates
Artist Series tickets make great gifts. Not sure which subscription package or individual event to buy? Consider a gift certificate. Each gift certificate is prepared individually for the purchaser, so you can choose the occasion, the denomination, and the date of expiration.
Smoke-free Environment
To ensure a high standard of quality for our indoor environment, Wheaton College maintains a smoke-free campus and complies with State and City smoking ordinances.
Handicap Access, Seating, and Assistance
Edman Memorial Chapel is accessible via a ramp at the southeast corner of the hall. Greeters and ushers will be ready and waiting to assist.
Handicap parking spaces are located in the Edman Chapel north lot at Lincoln Avenue, in the lot which begins south of the Conservatory of Music and stretches east past Blanchard Hall, and in our remote parking lot with shuttle service, located at the Billy Graham Center on College Avenue.
Wheelchair-convertible seating is located in the Rear Right Center and Rear Right sections of the hall. (It takes two seats to accommodate one wheelchair, but you will be charged for only one.) In addition, some end seats with removable armrests are located in the Front Right section.
It is our policy to provide, at the appropriate section price, up to three companion seats for guests or attendants in any seating location designated as accessible.
We offer a one-time seat exchange for anyone challenged by a temporary special need. If you find, for whatever reasons, you cannot access your subscription seat, please notify the Ticket Office in advance of the next event, and we will prepare tickets for your temporary seating in one of the accessible areas. Your tickets will be held at Will Call; please bring in the tickets for your regular seating, so we may use them as needed for that performance. If there is a price difference, you will not be charged or credited for the balance.
We have one wheelchair in the Box Office which is available for onsite needs.
Assisted Listening Devices
Listening amplification devices are available in the Edman Box Office, and the Head Usher is authorized to distribute them. Please plan to leave your driver's license as security when you borrow these devices.
Online Ordering Tutorial
Online ordering is available until 36 hours before an event. Within 10 days of an event, tickets will be held in Will Call instead of being mailed.
Tips to make your online ordering experience successful and enjoyable:
  1. Click on BUY INDIVIDUAL TICKETS under Tickets and Information at the top right of the screen.
  2. Choose your event from the master list, and enter the number of tickets you want to buy. Click CONTINUE.
  3. If at any time you need help with the site, use the HELP button at the top right of your screen.
  4. If you are eligible for any of the seating discounts, place the corresponding number of tickets in those boxes. Select a price range by clicking one of the buttons in the colored squares at the right. (Buttons will show up only for the sections where seating is available.)
  5. Click CHOOSE SEATS if you want to see what is available. (With the BEST AVAILABLE selection, the computer would choose your seats.)
  6. On the next page, you will see a basic diagram of Edman Memorial Chapel; after you click on the colored square, you will be taken to the section of your choice in order to select seats. Only the seats available in the price range you have designated will show. You may toggle between sections and price ranges at any time.
  7. Select your seats; the circles will turn black. Scroll down and find the YOUR VIEW option. Clicking on this will show you a photograph of the stage from within 5 seats of what you have selected. If you want a different choice, unclick the black circles and go to another selection. Repeat this process until you are satisfied with your choice.
  8. Choose your DELIVERY METHOD (above the Seatmap) and add the seats to your online shopping cart.
  9. Fill in your data and payment information. You do not need to repeat your name on any of the address lines. Please use a standard combination of capital and lowercase letters for your name, the name of your street, city, etc. Please also be sure to use a hyphen to separate the parts of your phone number.
You are now ready to place your order. When it is complete, you will receive a printable receipt, and the Ticket Office will promptly prepare your tickets.
Strategy for Choosing Your Next Subscription Seat Location
The two factors used to determine whether or not your first choice of seating can be fulfilled are 1) the date of your order, and 2) the availability of seat(s).
We suggest you explore Edman Memorial Chapel during intermissions—noting section names, row letters, and seat numbers. Then, when you place your next order, you will be able to describe several possible seating options.
The wider a "margin" of rows and seats you can ask for, the better your chances of getting seats which would be satisfactory to you and assure your enjoyment of every event; e.g., "rows BB-LL" (nine rows) is more practical than "rows BB-DD" (only three rows).
If you are not very tall, but line-of-vision is important to you, check out the seating on the sides of the hall; the view is quite good because the floor scoops up and the seat arrangement is more flared than in the center.
Every season, approximately 20% of our subscribers request a seat change. We are able to accommodate 60-70% of these requests. Requests most likely to be fulfilled are the ones that come to us the earliest.
Key Dates
June 1: deadline for subscribers who want to retain their seats.
July 15: individual ticket sales go live online.
September 1: advance orders for the upcoming season mailed to patrons.
Other dates vary each season, and should be verified in the Artist Series brochure, mailed each spring.
