Billy Graham Center/Inst. for Prison Ministries
Program Coordinator
  The Program Coordinator of the Institute for Prison Ministries answers and reports to the Director of the Institute for Prison Ministries, and provides oversight for office management, administrative duties and special projects of the Institute for Prison Ministries at the Billy Graham Center.
  1.  Responsible for the logistics and planning of conferences, training and special projects of the department (e.g. IPM Training events and conferences, Answering the Call seminars, Advisory and Scholarship Selection Committees)
  2.  Represents the Director in operations and policy matters related to integration of IPM programs and other Wheaton College Divisions and Departments.
  3.  Manages the School for Correctional Ministries, including; course scheduling, contracting and communicating with guest faculty, marketing, and coordinating campus housing for the summer session.
  4.  Responsible for Correctional Ministries and Chaplains Association (CMCA) programs including: Coordinating and planning an annual international conference, and supervising contract employees.
  5.  Responsible for the IPM web-based support, design and updates.
  6.  Manages follow-up on scholarship applicants and alumni with the Financial Aid Office, Admissions and other appropriate college departments.
  7.  Creates and manages multiple database systems for conferences, trainings, and IPM constituents
  8.  Supervises and manages student workers and recruits and maintains a current list of volunteer workers and student assistant(s) for special projects.
  9.  Manages the IPM budget which includes purchases, contracts, budget reconciliation.
  10.  Provides general administrative support including word processing, travel arrangements, purchases, work orders, systems and process management.
  11.  Communicates with IPM global constituents and provides information via telephone, email, and postal mail.
  12.  Perform other duties as assigned.
  1.  Bachelorís Degree essential.
  2.  Supervisory skills.
  3.  Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  4.  Highly organized
  5.  Working knowledge of accounting principles
  6.  Demonstrated experience managing conferences
  7.  Good interpersonal skills, organized and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Computer Skills
  1. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs.
2. Knowledge of the Internet and online information sources.
3. Working knowledge of web-based support and design.
