Office Assistant (in Wheaton)
  This position is responsible to the Residential Program Manager to fulfill the mission, vision, and commitments of HoneyRock by assisting with student recruitment on the Wheaton campus and assisting with administration of the Wheaton College (Southwoods) HoneyRock office. This is a permanent, part-time position from late August through early May - 27 hours a week, 9 months of the year.
  1.  Southwoods Office Assistant: Support with Southwoods office operations. Perform constituent relations communication through phones, mailings, and follow-up procedures. Maintain a welcoming environment in the office for students, campers, and parents to come and interact with HoneyRock.
  2.  Student Registration Coordinator: Coordinate all student registration and application processes during the school year including Summer Leadership School, adventure trips, work/play retreats, WIN (Wheaton in the Northwoods), and other HoneyRock-based student events.
  3.  Student Recruitment Assistant: Serve HoneyRock program recruitment efforts on the Wheaton College campus. Assist with hiring summer camp staff through referring to appropriate roles and supervisors. Coordinate student volunteer program during school year.
  4.  Camper Recruitment Assistance: Assist with camper recruitment including coordinating church presentations, ambassador program direction, school presentations, camper phone-a-thon and general marketing in the Chicagoland area.
  5.  Friend/Mentor: Serve HoneyRock students by maintaining friendship and mentoring relationship with past, present, and future students.
  6.  Resource Person: Serve as a resource for any additional functions.
  7.  Perform other duties as assigned.
  1.  B.A. required.
  2.  Skills and experience in office management.
  3.  Skills in promotion, organization/administration, and customer relations.
  4.  Able to effectively lead part-time staff and volunteers to accomplish goals.
  5.  Understanding of experiential education and adventure challenge programming.
  6.  Level of professionalism for representing HoneyRock with camper parents and college personnel.
